JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Under the direction of theInternal Communications Manager, the Corporate/Strategic CommunicationsIntern will assist with the implementation of various communicationsplans and the management of a variety of internal communicationschannels. This role will support communications for MCW\'s strategicpriorities. The intern will be charged with supporting the InternalCommuncations Team in creating informative and engaging content foremployees and learners and sharing that content through the appropriatechannels. At the conclusion of the internship, it is our hope that theintern will gain and/or improve upon their general communication skills,knowledge of communications channel management and best practices,understanding of the development and execution of basic communicationsplans, and ability to successful work with multiple partners both withinthe Office of Communications and other departments. Responsibilities:Assist in oversight of the main mass email tool for departments\'internal use, making sure best practices are used, helping userstroubleshoot, providing review of content and possibly helping train newusers. Review, edit and publish all content provided by our hospitalpartners and other members of the Office of Communications to the MCWintranet. Help write new content as needed. Lead design, review and editof institutional internal newsletters, such as the monthly WellnessNewsletter, the quarterly Corporate Compliance Newsletter and/or theWeekly News Recap. Assist Internal Communications Team in executinginstitutional communications plans for annual events and initiatives,including but not limited to drafting content, setting up emails and/orcreating design assets. Assist Internal Communications Team with makingrecommendations to departments on optimization of MCW intranet, internalmass email and other channels. Assist or lead content developmentsupporting internal storytelling, marketing or instructional content tofurther pride, engagement, and knowledge. Create and share analyticsreports on main internal communications channels, including MCWintranet, mass email tool and digital media boards.
