A day in the life
The Corporate Events Coordinator will work side by side with a team of 4 eventmanagers and one other coordinator executing a broad portfolio of US-basedevents. They should be meticulous about detail and accuracy. They are excitedto solve problems, leverage technology to support the team with adata-driven approach. This person will have event experience, thrive workingin cross-functional teams, and possess superior executive communicationskills. The event coordinator is part of a 6-person event team managing eventsacross the US for a global audience.
Key responsibilities include:
Create, maintain, and monitor a variety of contact lists for events,with an extremely high attention to detail, comprehension of the content andcomplete accuracy.Be comfortable in administration of events and programs aspects includingplacing orders, menu selection, BEO review, monitoring vendors, travelplanning, restaurant reservations, facilitating company attendees,monitoring registration, tracking RSVP's, answering questions.Manage competing priorities, and urgent requests.Create and submit event RFP's and synthesize proposals.Develop content for registration sites, event websites and various eventmaterials.Manage accounting for event program including supporting budget development,regular reporting of expenses, tracking budgets, providing appropriateinvoices for processing.Possess a strong sense of ownership of and pride in your performance and yourimpact on the team's and company's overall success.Stay on top of event and industry trends and bring key learnings andrecommendations back to the team.

Required:
2+ years internship or professionally based coordination experience required.Strong project management skills, impeccably organized and not afraid tomanage multiple schedules, deadlines and priorities simultaneously.Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well in a fast-pacedchanging environment including using calm, logical problem-solving whenchallenges arise.Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiating,influencing, facilitation, organizational, decision-making, andconflict-resolution skills.Comfortable interacting with internal and external audiences in fast-pacedand/or unfamiliar environments while projecting a helpful, friendly andcustomer-service oriented attitude.Expertise and proven proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Preferred:
Familiarity with Salesforce, Box and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Hiring Salary Range of $50,000-$65,000. Salary and whole compensationpackage (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's locations,education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well asinternal equity and alignment with market data.
