The Larson Group Peterbilt, is looking for an experienced Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for various accounting duties to support the corporate and branch operations, including, but not limited to, reporting, account reconciliations, preparing sales tax returns, month-end close functions, Accounts Payable and cash posting. What We Offer: * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays * Medical, Dental and Basic Life * 401K with employer contribution * Bi-weekly Pay Schedule * Opportunity for advancement and Career Development Responsibilities: * Complete various tasks for the month-end close process. * Perform account reconciliations for cash, inventory, and various other general ledger accounts. * Prepare and submit sales tax returns. * Post cash receipts for trade accounts, Multiservice/Paccar Parts Fleet Services, Warranty, etc. * Provide financial operating and analytical reports and analysis to General Managers, VP's, and corporate personnel. * Provide support for the annual business planning process. * Provide backup support for accounts payable activities. * Identify and make recommendations on improvements of accounting systems and processes. * Act as a backup for Corporate Accounting Admin and perform other projects as assigned. Qualifications: * A College degree in Accounting, or a related field is not required, but strongly preferred. * Previous Accounting experience is required. * Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
