  Responsibilities

  Manage scheduling, processing expense statements, answering phones, travel logistics, and other administrative responsibilities.

  Oversee departmental budget tasks, including processing purchase orders, work orders and membership/sponsorship invoices for third-party groups. Work with legal department to ensurecontracts are kept current.

  Assist External & Political Affairs with planning, coordinating, & executing conferences, including the annual meetings, Government Affairs conference, External Affairs conference, Campaign Institute, LAMPA, Executive Advisory Committee meeting and other meetings as needed.

  Assist External Affairs with other departmental projects according to

  In collaboration with the Associate General Counsel, Compliance and Corporate Affairs (AGC), manages and implements EEI's contract process, to include the following tasks: Serves as contact point for contract requests. Prepares initial drafts of routine contracts. Shepherds contracts through internal approvals. Maintains files and all EEI agreements and tracks progress to ensure timely execution. Requires excellent computer, communication, and organization skills to operate diverse programs and applications.

  Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; High school diploma/GED required

  3-4 years of relevant work experience

  Self-starting, productive team player who initiates, demonstrates strong follow-through, and completes tasks without constant supervision

  Familiar with event planning principles and best practices

  Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills in efficiently managing multiple tasks, priorities, and meeting deadlines

  Ability to work in a high-paced environment and successfully juggle priority projects

  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general office procedures

  Strong computer skills essential which includes familiarity in utilizing virtual platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx

  Excellent written and oral communication skills

  The salary range for this role begins at $50,200. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of base salary.   Office Protocol

  This is a hybrid position which requires the incumbent to reside in the District of Columbia metropolitan area and come into the office a minimum of three days each week with two of the mandatory days being Tuesday and Wednesday.The third in-office workday can be either Monday or Thursday.
