  Management Consultant

  Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies, has an opening for Management Consultant with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Consulting experience. You will work closely with and support FDA agency clients in the planning and implementation of major strategic and organizational transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with client leadership to set expectations for deliverables, shape work product development, and ensure quality delivery from our analyst staff in addition to supporting performance management and continuous process improvement for our clients. The ideal candidates will have expertise and experience working with or for FDA to implement high visibility and/or enterprise-level projects, programs, and initiatives. Experience working as a trusted advisor and/or leading similar projects, programs and initiatives is also preferred.  The selected candidate must be local to the DC metro area.

   

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  The successful candidate may be responsible for, among other things:

  Performs day-to-day management of contract support operations.

  Demonstrates skills in the scope of work encompassed by the task order; provides technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work and reviews the quality of all work products.

  Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities.

  Maintains and manages the client interface at the COR levels of the client organization.

  Assists the Program Manager as required in managing contract performance.

  Minimum Qualifications

  Master’s degree from an accredited college or university

  Minimum of six (6) years of experience in management consulting

  Experience supporting the planning, managing, and executing projects in support of federal agencies

  Employee relationship skills

  Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship

  Ability to obtain a public trust 

  ​Preferred Qualifications

  Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  Experience supporting FDA

  Work location is flexible if approved by the company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.
