　　Principal Responsibilities:

　　Responsible for contributing to the overall success of the cafés kitchen, meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit. Ensure superior service is provided to all guests and product quality standards are met. Maintaining all aspects of the café kitchen as described in job duties section below

　　Job Duties

　　Learn Menu Items

　　Prepare menu items properly and in a timely manner

　　Prep ingredients for menu items

　　Monitor Temperatures (Hot Food, RTE Foods, Coolers, Freezers, etc…)

　　Know the Food Temperature Danger Zone (41 degrees – 140 degrees)

　　Conduct proper MISE EN PLACE (Everything in its place)

　　Meal Period Closeouts (swapping from breakfast to lunch, etc…)

　　Follow Proper glove wearing policies

　　Follow Proper Food Handling Techniques

　　Unload and properly store food deliveries immediately upon delivery

　　Continued Monitoring of all product shelf life

　　Practice Safe knife handling procedures (Cut Gloves, Using correct knives for correct items, etc….)

　　Proper personal hygiene (Handwashing, Clean Uniforms, etc…)

　　Practice proper Communication skills (“Behind Youâ€, “Hotâ€, “Knifeâ€, etc…)

　　Clean and maintain equipment

　　Customer Service – Maximize Customer Service by attaining 80% or better on survey results. Respond and resolve all guest complaints timely and appropriately. Manages difficult or emotional customer situations. Responds promptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance.

　　QualificationsAt least 1-2 years cook/back of house experience preferred but not required
