  The beautiful, family friendly Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/mcobuhh-hilton-orlando-buena-vista-palace/?SEO\_id=GMB-AMER-HH-MCOBUHH&y\_source=1\_MjY3NTc3OC03MTUtbG9jYXRpb24ud2Vic2l0ZQ==) is seeking a Cook I to join their culinary team! This 1000 room property is connected by pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs® and offers luxury suites and amenities for magical vacations! As a Line Cook I, you would be responsible for preparing hot food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The ideal candidate will have previous cooking experience in a commercial setting, a great approach to teamwork, and a genuine passion to want to develop and grow their career. Full availability will be required to work shifts across weekdays, weekends and holidays.

  Shift Pattern: candidates should be flexible to work both morning and evening shifts, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed

  Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

  What will I be doing?

  As a Line Cook I, you would be responsible for preparing hot food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guestVisually inspects, selects and uses only food items ideal cooking, in preparation of all menu itemsChecks and controls the proper storage of product, monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest qualityKeeps all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with Health department regulationsPrepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items for productionReads and employs math skills to follow recipesWhat are we looking for?
