Assist Senior, Head Cook in preparing and serving in bulk community and home-delivered meals that meet our required meal pattern and follow the menu and recipes as planned by the registered dietician. Meals will be pleasing in both taste and appearance. Meal preparation and clean-up will follow food code regulations. Provide assistance if needed in local in-town delivery if an emergency arises. No nights or weekends, 7:30am-12:30pm Monday through Friday. Job Requirements: Kitchen experience Knowledge of quantity cooking: the ability to follow standardized recipes and convert measurements to accommodate the number of meals needed. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils usage. Knowledge of Health Department regulations. Ability to follow written and oral instructions, train, supervise, and direct site staff and volunteers. Orientation and Training provided in combination with the above.
