　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　The Communications Supervisor is responsible for administrative, operational and supervisory aspects of the Research Medical Center communications department which includes 8 FTEs in switchboard operators and information desk receptionists.

　　Plans and manages the staff schedule, approves timecards and works these systems to stay within approve productivity standards.

　　Performs problem resolution with staff.

　　Interviews and hires employees with the approval of the Director.

　　Develops materials and conducts training for new employees and current staff updates.

　　Reviews performance of staff on a timely basis and builds teamwork and rapport among staff members

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　High school graduate or equivalent

　　Experience scheduling and training staff

　　Multiple line phone or switchboard skills.

　　Experience with Word & Excel required.
