　　Increasing machine efficiency and yield through controls and programming projectsProviding real-time troubleshooting of controls related issues to improve machine uptimeDeveloping plans to further systems and databases plantwide to improve data availability and push forward technology advancementsMentoring and coaching plant engineering employees in controls and systems issuesYour Skills and Expertise

　　To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

　　Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).Three (3) years of Controls and/or Systems experience in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

　　Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.Five (5) years of Controls and/or Systems in a private, public, government or military environment.Experience with Allen Bradley, Automax, Modicon control systems, and Ladder Logic.Experience developing Process Information and Controls Solutions, Computer Security Systems, and Ethernet Networking.Experience with database setup and management, SQL servers, and queries.Skills include project management, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to lead peers.Work location:

　　Indianapolis 79th StreetTravel: May include up to 10% domestic

　　Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

　　Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

　　Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

　　The expected compensation range for this position is $93,033 - $113,708, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidates relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
