Job Description
The main function of a Controls Engineer is to initiate control system design from written sequences of operation. A typical Controls Engineer is responsible for designing complex piping and wiring diagrams along with providing technical support control systems projects. A typical day as a Controls Engineer would consist of working with highly automated, complex machine parts. Everyday you would work with electrical HMIs by conducting updates to prevent issues. The goal is to keep the machines running during a 3 shift operation with little to no down town. The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely team oriented, motivated, and process driven to solve problems.
Skills and Requirements
1+ year of experience as a Controls Engineer
Strong technical understanding of basic controls, Allen Bradley PLCs, and HMIs Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Relevant Associates degree
Ethernet communication network experience
EVD (variable frequency drives)
Any robotics experience (Fanuc or vision systems) null
