Description:

　　The controls engineer will be responsible for controls projects from cradle to grave.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　Interface with customers throughout the Quad Cities and surrounding areas to gather information on specifications and requirements for design and implementation of control systems

　　Assist with specification of parts and estimates for equipment

　　Perform PLC programming from scratch, instrumentation calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting

　　Perform onsite installation and startup for control systems within a 100-mile radius of the Quad Cities

　　Perform onsite customer support, including modifying and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs to ensure proper functionality

　　Skills:

　　allen-bradley, plc programming, plc troubleshooting, process control, controls engineering, hmi programming, allen bradley control logix, scada, rockwell automation arena, automation

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　REQUIRED:

　　Associates degree + 2 years of experience with PLC programming using Allen Bradley

　　Ability to interface with customers in a fast-paced environment

　　Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius of Davenport, IA to support customers

　　PREFERRED:

　　Bachelors degree in engineering + 5 years of experience with PLC programming using Allen Bradley

　　Previous experience at an integrator or in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
