Description
We are seeking an interim Controller in the manufacturing industry, based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. This role involves leading small and mid-sized teams in the preparation of financial statements, managing transaction processing functions, and strengthening financial reporting and internal controls.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements and conduct financial analysis.
• Lead the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams in transaction processing functions.
• Manage the process of account reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
• Implement and enhance financial reporting, internal controls, and processes.
• Evaluate and strengthen the personnel in the finance department.
• Provide business-minded explanations of accounting and finance areas to cross-functional colleagues.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management.
• Conduct Internal Control Reviews for process improvements.
• Manage and report on cash flow.
• Utilize Oracle NetSuite Technologies for financial operations and reporting.
Requirements • Must possess at least 10 years of experience in a Controller role within the Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Auditing is required
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is a must
• Proven track record of Process Improvement within a financial setting
• Proficient in Financial Reporting and Management Reporting
• Experience in Internal Control Review is necessary
• Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite Technologies and Oracle Reports is required
• Must have strong skills in Cash Flow Management
