Job Summary and Qualifications

The Desk Coordinator works under the supervision of the Office Manager. She/he is responsible for the coordination of patient care activities and administrative support service. These services include receptionist, fiscal assistance, physician support, scheduling, computer data entry, housekeeping/maintenance support, medical record maintenance, supply maintenance and requisition. His/her goal is to ensure efficient and coordinated operation of the business function, database, quality improvement and medical records functions in the Rehabilitation department while optimizing patient satisfaction. The Desk Coordinator is responsible for reporting equipment shortages and failures along with personal injury and general department maintenance status to the department manager/designee.

What qualifications you will need:

High School Degree or equivalent.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills. (Spanish a plus)

Organizational, Interpersonal, and Computer skills.
