In this role, you will support the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You will provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. You will promote revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. You will promote cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders. This position is a Remote position with a home base in Salt Lake City that requires 50-75% travel.
(Internals this is a Field Service Engineer Role.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance/Troubleshooting/Diagnostics of the DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
DCS installation (hardware/software) and commissioning
Networking, Cyber Security: design, implementation, configuration, diagnostics
Provide service related to the upgrades and migrations of the DCS
Configuration of virtual systems
Ability of continual self-development and learning
MUST HAVE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years Technology Experience
Valid Driver’s License
Pass and retain a clean background check
Pass and retain clear random drug tests
Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines
Willing to travel 50-75%
WE VALUE:
Experience with system software installation and configuration
Basic knowledge about application software configuration
Ability to produce/read electrical schematics, network diagrams, and P&IDs
Effective Communicator
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Technology Discipline
Prior knowledge with VMWare Virtualization and/or Cisco Networking.
Enterprise Microsoft Networking such as Active Directory Users and Policies, DNS, Sites and Services.
