Duties and Responsibilities
Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of different Federal Agency and Department of Defense (DoD) contracts.Provide full contracts and subcontracts lifecycle support, which includes strategy, proposal/RFP development and review, negotiation, draft/review/approval, order entry, administration, and day-to-day program support.Advise senior stakeholders and leadership on all contract-related matters.Draft and negotiate vendor subcontracts with suppliers.Regulatory review and negotiation of terms and conditions.Forge and maintain relationships with contracting officers and partner suppliers and serve as the point of contact for all matters concerning contracts and subcontracts.Maintain a contract document management system, which includes correspondence, records, the contracts portfolio, backlog, and historical award information and documentation throughout the contract/subcontract lifecycle.Review and prepare contract modifications, extensions, and close-out, consistent with the contract process, regulatory compliance, and the companys best interests.Resolve any contract-related challenges which may arise with other parties, internal or external.Assist and advise the proposal teams with analyzing complex customer solicitations/RFPs/RFQs, identifying business risk, and develop risk mitigation plans.Other duties and special projects as may be requested.
