MAIN PURPOSE:
Support the Supply Chain Controller and respective Functional Head on a day to day as well as on a long term strategic view. Provide visibility around costs related to the Supply Chain processes through the driving of relevant analysis and reporting (monitoring of the budget and controlling the variances), ensure adherence to financial legal requirements and Nestle Accounting Standards.
KEY TASKS:
Ensure internal control compliance within Supply Chain by promoting clearer understanding of key compliance measures and documents relevant to Supply Chain, including organizing training sessions for knowledge transfer and self-assessment.
Ensure development, implementation and compliance with internal controls. Perform, or coordinate reviews and audits of supply chain processes, identify critical control points, and recommend appropriate and effective internal control, or feasible process improvements.
Ensure completeness and timeliness of contracts entered into by Supply Chain
Ensure compliance to all contract’s requirements
Organize internal and external meetings to resolve contract management issues with vendors, end users and Procurement
Drive monthly compliance and contracts discussion with Supply Chain Head and the CFO.
Identify and support the implementation of process improvement initiatives to eliminate non-value adding activities and simplify ways of working without sacrificing control.
Perform scheduled periodic inventory count and gemba of distribution centers and factories.
Coordinate and be key contact for internal and external audits for the functions.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Should have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting and strong knowledge of contract management principles and practices.
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively resolve contract management issues with vendors, end users, and procurement.
Ability to identify process improvement initiatives and simplify ways of working without sacrificing control.
Amenable to travel
Experience in Supply Chain Operations is highly preferred.
