Position: This entry level position is a great fit for the candidatewith a professional attitude and strong work ethic. Attention to detail, as well as the ability toconcentrate and carry out tasks accurately while under time constraints.This position will introduce the candidate to the Federal AcquisitionRegulations (FAR) and provide exposure to negotiating subcontract termsand conditions. The candidate will also learn about various contractingmethods such as Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Blanket PurchaseAgreements (BPAs), Firm Fixed Price, and Time & Materials.Responsibilities: Working closely with senior staff to draftsubcontracts for work under Government, State, and private contracts anddemonstrating informed judgement regarding the use of appropriatetemplate and terms. Communicating clearly with subcontractors tonegotiate and execute subcontract agreements. Maintaining accurate andup-to-date electronic files of contract documents in IEc\'s documentmanagement software system. Conducting preliminary reviews of newcontract awards and assisting with proposal support. Providingadditional administrative support to senior staff, as requested.Required Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent internationaldegree in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, pre-law, or asimilar major). Proficiency in MS Office Applications, Acrobat Adobe,Excel. Compensation and Advancement: The Contract Analyst position is anhourly non-exempt full time IEc employee and works Monday through Fridayduring normal business hours. Each employee\'s performance is evaluatedtwo times per year. Pay rates are reviewed annually, with meritincreases taking effect on January 1st.
