If you want to create a cleaner, more sustainable world, we'd love your help.Position ResponsibilitiesContribute to the assembly process of our zero-emission power module at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilityFollow and execute assembly sequences derived from mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and digital formatsCross team collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teamsTroubleshoot build-related issues and document any deviations or challenges encountered during the processMaintain a strong focus on safety throughout the manufacturing processBasic Qualifications4+ years' experience as production technician in wire harnessFamiliarity with wire harnessing and soldering according to industry standards like IPC-A-620Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints and a basic understanding of GD&TComfortable with hand tools for soldering connectors, wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and pinning cablesPhysical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally operate heavy machinery as neededVision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusPreferred QualificationsBasic knowledge of mechanical systems, or familiarity with components like hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems commonly used in heavy machinery.Exposure to hydrogen fuel cells or high voltage battery systems is a plus.Experience with metal working equipment (metal milling and lathe) and heavy lifting equipment.Adaptability and comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment.LocationThis role will initially be based at First Mode's SoDo R&D Facility and will transition to our new Production Facility in South Seattle, WA.
