This position is contingent upon award of contract
SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a highly qualified Contract Lead for Systems Administration in accomplishing services under this contract.
Responsibilities
Responsible for technical requirements and SLAs associated with operating, maintaining, securing, and sustaining operating systems that supports several local and enterprise services.
Interacts with peers to establish and maintain lines of communication while providing direction and motivation to team leads under his/her supervision.
Provides sound guidance to contract staff in the absence of instructions; ensuring teams perform to established standards.
Makes sure all training and other suspense dates required by contract are met, ensures corporate and organizational policies are enforced.
Maintains awareness of all applicable SOPs and TTPs are current IAW mission objectives.
Verify employees are trained to established standards and remain proficient, certifies personnel coverage is provided IAW contract standards.
Ensures all issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
Collaborates with higher-level supervisors of anticipated vacancies and increases in workload or other circumstances that require replacements or additional staff.
High level individual contributor, leading a group of engineers, analysts, technicians, and/or one or more project engineers assigned for the duration of a project.
Assists to ensure performance and compliance with PWS.
Contributes to all devices managed assuring they are fully mission capable using Government-provided tools, Contractor developed processes, and/or manual procedures to verify managed devices for outages, performance issues, and services degradations.
Contributes to the development, documentation, and sustainment management methods for devices maintenance and maintain TTPs to sustain mission.
Assesses new services, technologies, software tools, and network devices that may improve abilities to proactively monitor performance, remediate concerns, and offer recommendations for improvement.
Maintains Continual Process Improvement (CPI) / Continual Service Improvement (CSI) to improve the overall quality of services delivered.
Supports services for the protection, monitoring, analysis, detection, and response to unauthorized activity within the Information Systems and Networks.
Qualifications
An active in scope Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
BA/BS in Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or a related field and at least 10 years of experience
Must meet DoD 8140 DCWF 451 requirements (B.S., CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP)
Must have one of the following requirements (RHCSA, Microsoft Certified:Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or MCSA:Windows Server 2016)
Must have one of the following certifications (Elastic Certified Engineer or Elastic Certified Observability Engineer) within six months of contract start date or hire date
Must have one of the following certifications (Confluent Fundamentals Accreditation, Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka, or Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka) within six months of contract start date or hire date
ITIL Foundations certified within three months of contract start date or hire date on the contract
Knowledgeable in the mission and operational requirements of the U.S. Army
Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements and an understanding of U.S. Army IT applications and network systems
Expertise in management and control of complex information systems architectures involving multiple disparate databases, networks, and communications subsystems
Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, or a related field
ITIL v4 certification
Detailed understanding of the Army’s Unified Network Plan
