The Consumer Insights Director in the perfumery industry plays a crucial role in guiding strategic decisions based on a deep understanding of consumer preferences and market trends.
Our Consumer Insights Director plays a key role in understanding consumer behavior and preferences related to perfumes and fragrances. This position involves leading the consumer insights function, conducting market research, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance product development and marketing strategies.

Your Key Responsabilities
Design and execute market research studies to gather data on consumer preferences, trends, and buying behavior in the perfumery industry and utilize a variety of research methods, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and data analytics, to collect relevant information.
Analyze and interpret data to identify key consumer insights and trends that impact the perfumery market and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to integrate consumer insights into business strategies.
Monitor and analyze competitor activities in the perfumery industry to identify opportunities and threats and provide insights on competitor products, pricing strategies, and marketing approaches to inform decision-making.
Collaborate with product development teams to incorporate consumer preferences into new fragrance formulations and product designs and work closely with Evaluation teams to ensure that new products align with consumer expectations and market trends.
Develop and maintain consumer segmentation models to better target specific consumer groups with tailored marketing strategies.and identify and understand different customer personas to guide personalized marketing efforts.
Prepare and present reports summarizing consumer insights and market trends to senior leadership and key stakeholders and communicate findings in a clear and compelling manner, offering actionable recommendations.

You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related role within the perfumery or beauty industry.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, knowledge of trends and dynamics within the perfumery industry.
Fluency in English."
