JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Overview The Consumer BankingOperations Specialist responsibilities are to provide proactiveleadership, guidance and indirect supervision for all cash handlingprocedures and negotiable instruments; provides operational support forservice related tasks in the branch and safe deposit area; is reliedupon to resolve escalated issues with clients and staff; is responsiblefor risk mitigation and auditing duties; and champions overall branchoperational activities. In partnership with Branch Managers andAssistant Branch Managers, provides leadership and training for thebranch and staff related to primary job responsibilities noted above;promotes new or expanded relationships for Johnson Financial Group bymaintaining exceptional client relations and referring clients toappropriate staff for new products and services; completes work with ahigh level of accuracy; and assures compliance with all applicable JFGpolicies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federalbanking regulations. This position supports associates, workflow andservice at multiple branch locations within a region. Position SpecificResponsibilities Schedule rotates within a defined region to providedirect support to each assigned branch on a monthly basis. Ensuresclient transactions are processed according to policies, procedures andregulations. Resolves more complex problems and issues; referringinquiries to the appropriate staff, and exhibits the necessary followthrough with clients and/or staff involved. Oversees staff in dailyactivities, operations and internal controls. Ensures safe deposit areaoperates per necessary controls. Gathers data, processes and analyzesvarious reports (e.g., currency transaction, returned items, etc.). Leadby example and continually exhibit interactions that develop a strongstaff and meet client needs. Key components individual coaching,observations with clients, staff meetings, outbound contactopportunities, product education, closed referrals, etc. Deliversexceptional client service through their own example along withappropriate follow through with clients and associates. Leads by exampleby performing cash handling, safe deposit, and other operational andsales referral responsibilities. Handles complete operations of multiplebranches and their vaults. Maintains knowledge of security and safetypolicies and strictly adheres to established procedures; assuresinternal controls are in place and proper procedures are being followed.May represent JFG in various community or civic functions to furtherenhance JFG\'s image and develop additional business.
