Consulting Director, Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Location:
Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; and Denver, CO. Other cities are also welcome remotely.
Summary:
As a Consulting Director within our Order-to-Cash group, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive finance management consulting experience. You will help finance and accounting executives at multi-billion-dollar companies solve complex problems, from strategy through execution. This role is fundamental in delivering world-class results for our portfolio of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1,000 clients.

Responsibilities and Required skills:
Full understanding of finance-owned O2C functionality and processes, including Customer Master Data, Credit, Billing/Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Collections, Cash Application, Dispute Management, Sales Adjustments and Cash & Revenue Forecasting
Proven track record in practice growth responsible for revenue and margin targets associated with O2C transformation programs, including both process & organizational transformation, and technology enablement
Ability to lead discussions regarding O2C technology and process in detail with seamless transition between the two
Lead development of executive-level presentations to communicate complex issues and recommendations across processes, systems, and people
Ability to understand and diagnose common problems in the O2C value chain, and discuss leading practices and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Attention to detail in executing work products with excellent follow-through
Full ability to manage people, develop teams, and coach more junior team members
Effective organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities
Consistently follow all firm policies and guidance
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a business-related field of study, including business, finance, accounting, economics, computer science, data analytics, math, data science, or similar areas of study
8-10+ years of O2C consulting experience at a large consulting firm, or in industry with job experience executing O2C activities (e.g. as a Global Process Owner for O2C)
Effective organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities
Strong leadership skills and executive presence
Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly convey complex business concepts to executive audiences, free of grammatical errors, while incorporating leading practices for business writing and formal presentations
