　　The Billing Consultant or Consultant, Applications Programming position will be responsible to assess our capabilities and current architecture to help us drive the implementation of improvement to become "best in class." This role will also be heavily involved in component-based architecture, development methodologies, project facilitation, multi-platform application design, systems design, requirements/interface design & analysis, estimating, tracking, and change management.

　　The Billing team is responsible for supporting billing and invoice processing functions to assist with product, multi-entity billing Applications, used to service our multiple business areas. Our system runs 24 x 7, processes multibillion transactions monthly, generates a large set of invoices and interacts with many systems in batch and real-time. 　　How You Will Contribute &bull Focused on improving our software delivery pipeline as we move down the CI/CD path. &bull Working closely with onsite and home office teams. &bull Skilled in translating complex technical concepts into high-level designs for development teams. &bull Thought leadership in developing enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features. &bull Working with a team of engineers that plans, designs, and develops customer software in an agile environment. &bull Plays a hands-on role in the development process including design, development and support of the applications. &bull Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams. &bull Ensure Transunion design patterns, frameworks, and architectural standards are implemented consistently within billing applications. &bull Accountability for quality of code and application development. What You Will Bring &bull 10+ years of technical experience including experience in technical architecture, application development, database management or operations. &bull 9+ years of Java experience. &bull 6+ years of experience in developing APIs and microservices. &bull 5+ years of experience providing technical solution architecture. &bull Strong proficiency in Java concepts and object modeling in a Linux environment and databases. &bull Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented design principles. &bull Provide data modeling and database design solutions for both existing and new software components and systems. &bull Experience with Spring framework, Spring Boot, high volume, and high concurrency applications &bull Past experiences with development tools such as Git, Artifactory, Maven, Jenkins, Splunk, Ansible, Confluence, SonarQube, etc &bull Experience with Linux Shell scripting. &bull Play a hands-on role in the development process including design, development, and support of the applications. &bull Experience in Mulesoft/messaging queue is plus. &bull Experience in AWS and cloud platforms is a plus. &bull Experience in SAFe agile framework is a must. &bull A working knowledge of IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, load balancing, clustering) &bull Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. &bull Ability to communicate complex technical or architecture concepts in a simple manner and can adapt to different audiences. &bull Experience navigating large complex applications. &bull Strong knowledge of technology and product trends, especially what is happening in open source, DevOps, and Big Data &bull Solid written and verbal communication skills &bull Experience working in a SOX compliance environment is a plus.
