Job Summary
The Construction Project Manager will oversee University Housing building projects from start to finish. They will perform day-to-day construction phase management, promote completion of non-capital and capital projects by developing, monitoring and managing project requirements, and report to and receive guidance from construction leadership.
Responsibilities
Receives project assignments from leadership and reviews with the project team
Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of the project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing
Ensures contractors comply with negotiated contract documents
Issues daily reports, noncompliance notices, and cost issue log
Reviews preliminary and final plans and makes recommendations for improving engineering details and construction practicality
Oversees occupancy, turnover, and close-out process
Determines construction progress and resolves construction problems with project team
Discuss customer’s goals and objects for the project
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of capital project management
3+ years of budget management
Hands-on experience with building, construction, or trade maintenance
3+ years of working with and managing contractors
Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in related field
Project Management certification ( PMI or PMP preferred)
Target Salary Range $55,000 - $65,000 per year
