As a technician, you will perform a variety oftesting on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, andasphalt.

　　Responsibilities

　　Receive and log concrete and soil samples along with additional testingas needed.

　　Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures

　　Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments

　　Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory

　　Input and reduce laboratory test data in standard office format and filesystem.

　　Maintain laboratory equipment in good operating condition.

　　Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned

　　Required Skills

　　Ability to work independently

　　Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

　　Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagramform

　　Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

　　Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

　　Ability to learn how to perform less common but more complexgeotechnically related laboratory tests.

　　Ability to learn how to use the various lab management systems.

　　Required Experience

　　High School diploma or equivalent

　　Must have valid driver\'s license and clean driving record

　　The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds

　　MoDOT or KDOT HMA, MoDOT or KDOT Soils certifications are preferred orability to obtain within 1 year.
