Job Description:
Responsible for assisting in the design process and oversite of all demolition projects at various locations throughout the State.Responsible for having full intimate knowledge of each active Blue Acres Demolition Project including projects waiting for approval.Responsible for ensuring each active Blue Acres Demolition Project is on schedule and meets its end date to prevent loss of funding as regulated by FEMA and HUD requirements.Responsible for reviewing all submittals to make sure all comply with plans and specs for that particular Blue Acres Demo project along with ensuring a seamless process with DPMC Blue Acresadministrative functions.Responsible for the review of all contractor invoices and work with DEP Fiscal to ensure all invoices, change orders, and amendments are properly allocated to each funding source.Responsible for completion and administrating of Contractor and Consultant Evaluations for each project at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% completions.Responsible for assisting the Program Director with contract compliance issues along with ensuring the program meets compliance with division policies, procedures, statutes, and administrative codes for DPMC.Responsible for assisting the Program Director with the coordination of all activities with township Business Administrators for each project in every town.Responsible for meeting with all township Business Administrators to coordinate and update all existing and upcoming Blue Acres demolitions including but not limited to, all utilities, community resident issues and property line disputes, etc.Responsible for attending all Plan & Spec review meetings with each AE firm as it pertains to each project and ensuring all state regulations and term contract requirements are met as it relate to each town, geographical location and existing field conditions.Responsible for attending all Pre-bid, post-bid and Pre-construction meetings for all projects.Responsible for assisting the Program Director with coordinating all activities in the field with the Programs 4 AE Firms as needed.Responsible for assisting the Program Director with coordinating all activities in the field with other State Agencies, i.e., Department of Labor, Department of Environmental Protection, Environmental Protection Agency (Federal), NJ Department of Health, etc.Responsible for maintaining an organized electronic copy of all emails, submittals, invoices, amendments, change orders, close-out documents, etc.Mandatory:
Must have at least five (5) years of experience in the field of construction project managementMust be proficient in using Laptop computers, electronic file management, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), and Adobe (PDF)Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously if necessary.About our Company: -
