Begin/report to work: 5347 West Luke Avenue, Ste 100, Glendale ,Maricopa County, AZ 85301 @ \$21.22/hr. Employer will transport workersdaily between report to work address and additional worksites.
Additional worksites: (work throughout the following counties/areas):Maricopa, Pinal, Yavapai, AZ, and areas of Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, AZ,Prescott, AZ.
Duties: Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possiblehazards. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, ortools. Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areaswhere construction work will be performed. Dig ditches or trenches,backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to gradespecifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.Lubricate, clean, machinery, equipment, or tools & other relatedConstruction Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 47-2061 (onetonline.org).Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doingphysically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heator cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-),possible downtime and/or overtime.
Terms: Employer will comply with all applicable Federal, State and localemployment-related laws and regulations such as wages, breaks, hoursworked, and overtime hours (overtime possible, but not required orguaranteed. If overtime is worked, wage is paid at 1.5x regular rate ofpay per hour worked beyond 40 hours each week.).
Requirements: Must be 18 due to state labor laws. Must show proof oflegal authority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone.Perform physical activities such as: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle,position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maxmuscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 60lbs (possible2-person). Must have 6 months Construction experience. No minimumeducation requirement. All applicants must be able, willing andqualified to perform work described and must be available for the entireperiod specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.Based on Employer\'s discretion/cost: Worker may have randomdrug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide =dismissal.Possible background check post hire at employer\'s expense.
Wages & Conditions of Employment: \$21.22/Hour up to possible\$23.22/Hour OT \$31.83/Hour up to possible \$34.83/Hour. Wage may varybased on Experience. Will use a single workweek as its standard forcomputing wages due. Wage paid every week. All deductions required bylaw will be made by the employer as well as any further tax withholdingor other reasonable deduction(s) authorized by the worker. At Employerssole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individualfactors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed); possiblecash advances (if applicable/requested by worker, potential deductionfrom workers paycheck).
Possible offered daily/weekly hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-6:00PM. 40+(plus); not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possibleweekend/holiday work.
Inbound and Outbound Transportation (Initial Arrival & ContractCompletion/Subsequent Departure): The amount of transportation paymentor reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonablecommon carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will beprovided at the rate required at the time of travel (currently \$15.46per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts).
Transportation and subsistence will be provided for cost from the placefrom which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in theU.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. Will reimburse the H-2Bworker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, bordercrossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by thegovernment, incurred by the H-2B worker (not including passport).
Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs ofreturn transportation and subsistence back home or to the place theworker originally departed to work, except where the worker will notreturn due to subsequent employment with another employer.
3/4s Guarantee: The worker will be offered a total number of work hoursequal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period.
Tools, equipment & supplies: All work will be done with employerprovided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit.
Miscellaneous: Optional, shared housing available at no cost to theworker. Any worker who voluntarily abandons employment is not entitledto payment for outbound transportation or the full 3/4s Guaranteedescribed.
