　　Opportunity:

　　Erdman Anthony has a full-time, entry-level position in construction inspection available for a qualified individual interested in bridge and highway construction inspection at the I-86 Bridge over Chautauqua Lake, Bemus Point, NY, with the NYSDOT Field Office being located at 3445 Old Bridge Road, Stow, NY 14710. Minorities are encouraged to apply.

　　Resumes will be accepted from January 22 through February 9, 2024.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Over a 6-month period, the trainee will gain experience toward certification as an Engineering Technician (NICET I). Under supervision of the NYSDOT Engineer-in-Charge, the trainee will be assigned inspection assignments on the I-86 Bridge over Chautauqua Lake, Bemus Point, NY. The inspection assignments may include earthwork, grading, drainage, paving and bridge work. The trainee will take measurements, estimate quantities, learn to read plans and specifications, learn to test concrete and complete inspection reports. The trainee will prepare to take and pass the NICET exam to become certified in construction technology. The job requires physical fitness and reliable transportation.

　　Requirements:

　　Six months of construction experience or completion of 1 year of engineering related college course work.

　　Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
