　　Responsibilities

　　Uses outstanding customer service skills to schedule surgical procedures, perform pre-admission patient consultations and insurance authorizations. Utilizes software applications, and/or other supporting systems or documentation to ensure scheduling accuracy and expediency. Provides front office support for the practice.

　　Qualifications

　　Requirements:

　　One year prior front office or clerical experience.

　　High School Diploma/GED.

　　Basic Computer skills, Outlook, window-based programs.

　　Ability to organize work so that productivity and effectiveness are maximized.

　　Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service.

　　Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

　　Preferred:

　　One year surgical scheduling experience.

　　Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred

　　Pay Range

　　$17.93 - $24.66 /hour
