We are looking for a professional with expertise in conducting building and property site inspections, along with knowledge of the construction industry, to fill our Construction Coordinator - Environmental Review position.
This role requires a broad understanding of construction, including building and site considerations, water and soil factors, and building inspection nuances. Your pivotal role involves conducting on-site inspections, assessing conditions, and completing regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other regulatory standards. Collaboration is a key component of this role, involving working with various stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Senior Construction Project Manager, Capital Construction and Weatherization, and will be based at our central office in Tukwila, WA.

Essential Functions
The Construction Coordinator - Environmental Review will:
Conduct building and property site inspections to assess the anticipated expenses for property maintenance and essential repairs, including components such as plumbing, electrical, insulation, and other systems in the building.
Review and analyze property environmental related issues; ensuring compliance is within specified parameters of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) guidelines.
Support the coordination, preparation, and management of Capital Needs Assessment (CNA) reporting, ensuring compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other regulatory requirements; this involves gathering information from various sources and compiling data.
Gather statistical data and generate reports for quality improvement purposes.
Qualifications and Competencies
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree AND
Considerable experience in building and property site inspections OR
An equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform this position's essential functions.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrates the comprehension of means and methods in construction projects, including an understanding of construction techniques, tools, equipment, materials, coordination of construction sequencing, and adherence to safety measures; should have the ability to grasp and comprehend the processes involved in construction execution without necessarily having hands-on experience.
