About Director of Sales and Operations - New England / East Coast

  Location: New England | East Coast

  Wise Foods is currently seeking a Director of Sales and Operations. In this role you will manage the Wise branches and distributors within their area by delivering strategic sales planning. You will be responsible for forecasting plans, analyzing sales operations, modifying, and implementing changes to ensure quality effectiveness of the business units under their direction. In addition to this, you will develop your team managers to enhance productivity and facilitate a profitable and robust sales operation within their respective regions.

  You will ensure that any planned Wise programs have been communicated to all customers and also executed by the distribution team throughout the entire region. Monitor, update and communicate our sales trends relative to our goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. Work with and help team members develop plans and strategies with retailers and distributors to help obtain company goals.

  Areas of Responsibility:

  Achieve Sales & Profitability objectives

  Assignment of sales and profits objectives for each area on quarter basis to deliver maximum sales potential for each market area.

  Review of sales and profits goals monthly with the team and distributors to align on results and expectations for upcoming events.

  Identify and execute with the managers potential new opportunities within the market area.

  Align with key account team to ensure agreed expectations for each account and to provide best in class execution of all programs.

  Provide Leadership

  Provide clear direction and expectations to the team members and be consistent in communications to the team.

  Maintain solid communication on upcoming events and programs with the team.

  Work with and develop the sales team to provide growth development within the team to include challenging them to develop their team.

  Maximize Operational Execution

  Provide with sales team and distributors solid S&OP forecasts for production to ensure product inventory availability to deliver volume and profit goals.

  Follow up with each manager to insure consistent merchandising practices across all areas of the regions to support plans.

  Continue to improve the processes - in warehouse, distribution, sales to deliver improved profitability in all regions.

  Be Detail Orientated

  Keep organized for each sector of the business - Sales, Operations, People

  Know where you are and where you are going - Sales, Costs, Accountability

  Communicate the story that the details tell - Sales/Stales, Expenses- In line/Over Budget

  Grow the Business

  Assist with identifying and cultivating new opportunities.

  Manage accounts to maximize profitable sales for Wise and the accounts.

  Execute Brand and marketing programs effectively to the retail and partner business.

  Buy in with Team personnel on new products, offerings, and line extensions in the marketplace. Motivate DM's to positively impact their workforce

  Education & Experience

  Required:

  High School Diploma

  Need to have 5+ years of DSD experience to relate to the business

  Advanced communication skills

  Advanced computer proficiency

  Preferred

  Bachelor's Degree

  Bi-lingual in Spanish
