We are seeking a Consolidation Accountant to join our team in Auburn Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for tasks related to financial consolidation and compiling financial reporting packages. You will also be responsible for maintaining data integrity from subsidiary ERP systems and troubleshooting issues within the close.

Responsibilities:

Process close related jobs and tasks including journal entries for financial consolidation and compiling financial reporting packages.

Review data loads and templates completed by the subsidiaries for accuracy, completeness and operational trends.

Compile and communicate monthly foreign exchange rates to U.S. and foreign Finance teams.

Work with U.S. and foreign Finance teams to understand accounting practices and consolidate their monthly reporting packages.

Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual government surveys.

Build and maintain reports to enhance and improve the reporting process.

Compile quarterly reporting packages for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.

Provide training to members of the finance team on utilizing consolidation system and changes in the consolidation process.

Coordinate with external auditors and internal resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit schedules.

Periodically assist internal audit with developing testing plans and evaluating internal control effectiveness and compliance with SOX.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Consolidation Accountant

• Proven track record in handling Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Consolidations is necessary

• Must be experienced in carrying out Month End Close procedures

• Should be capable of maintaining and managing Journal Entries

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field is required
