Concrete Technician

　　San Antonio, TX

　　Kelly Science is currently recruiting for several Concrete Technicians with cement and concrete technology company located in San Antonio, TX.

　　This role will be responsible for primarily testing fresh and hardened concrete following ASTM procedures including weighing, batching, casting and testing of concrete for strength, set times, air content, and permeability.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Performing soil testing such as liquid and plastic limits, moisture-density and moisture-strength relationships, and soil classification.

　　Responsible for keeping up the testing equipment in the concrete laboratory and maintaining the laboratory sample inventory.

　　Responsible for proportioning, mixing, forming and curing materials for testing

　　Job Requirements/Education:

　　High school diploma is required

　　Candidates with training in concrete and soil testing and experience in a concrete/materials testing laboratory are preferred.

　　Must be detail oriented and have good communication and basic computer skills.

　　May require some overtime. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

　　M-F; 8am-5pm
