I. TITLE: Concourse Coordinator
II. DEPARTMENT: Operations
III. REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager, Assistant Facilities Manager, Housekeeping Manager, Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Concourse Supervisor
IV. JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas within the retail and food & beverage concessions management program.
· Maintain all areas of responsibility at a very high level, in a timely, efficient and smooth manner.
· May be required to maintain multiple areas based on staff availability.
· Execute duties in compliance with relevant rules, regulations and operating requirements.
· Actively participate in training, safety and risk management programs as required.
V. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· At least one year of experience in housekeeping, custodial or other service work.
· Knowledge of housekeeping and floor care standards and practices is preferred.
VI. SPECIAL SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
· Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds and pull or push a 100 pound trash-cart up or down ramps.
· Must be able to stand for 90% of the assigned shift time on hard surface floors.
· Must be dependable and able to take direction from supervisors correctly.
· Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities, make good decisions quickly and be flexible.
· Willingness to work a varying schedule is essential, especially nights, weekends, holidays and inclement weather.
VII. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
A. Program
· Complete assigned duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
· Perform housekeeping and maintenance of designated areas in compliance with established guidelines.
· Control allocated inventory of departmental supplies, tools and equipment.
· Ensure that sufficient supplies, necessary tools and properly operating equipment are on hand.
· Assist in executing the housekeeping and maintenance program as may be requested.
· Execute special assignments as may be given from time to time.
B. Risk Management
· Perform all duties in accordance with established safety standards.
· Report all hazards and defects in accordance with established procedure.
C. Merchant and Customer Relations
· Establish and maintain effective relationships with merchants and customers.
· Respond to retail and food & beverage merchant operational issues, problems and requests.
