Computer Scientist/Tester

　　ATEC is looking for a Computer Scientist to support the RMLS test activities in support of RMLS development, system, operational, and key site testing for the Automation Maintenance Management System (AMMS) project.

　　ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

　　Collaborate with HW/SW agile team for the development of user stories and acceptance criteria for test procedures

　　Develop/maintain/execute test procedures for iteration and system testing in JIRA/Zephyr

　　Maintain baseline test procedures

　　Coordinate and support Operational/Key Site testing

　　Generate/maintain project artifacts as required

　　OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

　　Attend and may lead meetings, reviews, working groups and/or briefings

　　Performs other related duties in line with task assignments

　　Provide applicable RMLS product field support

　　KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

　　Required:

　　Excellent writing and verbal skills

　　Excellent customer relations skills

　　Ability to multitask multiple activities, projects and/or work efforts

　　Ability to work in a team environment in support of team goals

　　Preferred:

　　Working knowledge and experience with FAA policies, procedures, and test and evaluation

　　Working knowledge and experience with safe agile principles and practices using JIRA and Zephyr

　　EDUCATION/YEARS of EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

　　Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and seven (7) years of related work experience in a computer science or math fieldOR

　　Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and five (5) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

　　US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US

　　Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation

　　Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years

　　WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

　　Located at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, Pomona, NJ

　　Works indoors in office conditions primarily sitting/standing for prolonged periods
