Description

　　Role:

　　Under the direction of the Information Technology Director, the IT Specialist is responsible for assisting with organizing, modifying, installing and supporting all aspects of computer, server and network systems. The IT Specialist will also be responsible for basic UNIX / Linux operations and Windows Server administration. Responsible for software and basic PC maintenance including desktop break / fix.

　　Major Duties & Responsibilities:

　　· Provide operational support for the UNIX / Linux infrastructure.

　　· Develop procedures and checklists for infrastructure, troubleshooting and operation.

　　· Provide operational support for Epicor Array.

　　· Provide support for production systems including server, desktop, network, printer, email and backup infrastructures.

　　· Provide as needed helpdesk support for all employees of the company.

　　· Provide operational support for the companies Active Directory and Windows server infrastructure.

　　Education: Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training certifications required.

　　Requirements

　　Knowledge & Skills:

　　· Must have at least three plus years of prior experience in supporting network infrastructures.

　　· Must have at least three plus years of prior experience in IT systems in a Microsoft and UNIX / Linux environment.

　　· Must have a working knowledge of UNIX / Linux shell scripting.

　　· Must have at least three plus years of prior experience in supporting Windows desktops.

　　· Must have a working knowledge of MS Office and Windows 11.

　　· Must have a working knowledge of TCP/IP.

　　· Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

　　· Nice to have a working knowledge of MS Powershell and UNIX Cyberquery.

　　· Nice to have a working knowledge of network management including VLAN, VPN, CISCO Meraki.

　　· Nice to have a working knowledge of G-SUITE administration.

　　· Nice to have a working knowledge of VMWare ESX.

　　· Nice to have a working knowledge of Epicor Array.

　　· Nice to have experience with Ubiquiti equipment.
