Work involves testing CPA applications which will include developing testcases from user requirements, testing and defect identification. Work also includes creating and executing manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of software development. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Work HoursWork hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM, 40-hour week, Monday Friday. Occasionally work overtime and/or additional hours. Hours may change based on business need. Application support activities periodically require on-call responsibilities or work during non-standard hours.Teleworking may be considered if certain working conditions are met. The candidate must have permanent residency within the state of Texas and must be able to meet in office requirements, which can vary among different sections (i.e., report to the office 1-3 days/week, etc.). Travel reimbursements are not provided for teleworking.Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited four-year college or university or a recent graduate within one year. Professional or academic experience working in automation/manual software testing tools, test planning, test scenario creation and cataloging, test documentation and executing tests. Knowledge of Flow Charts Knowledge of Test Cases and User Stories Knowledge of Excel Knowledge of Manual and or Automation TestingPreferred Qualifications Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited four-year college or university or a recent graduate within one year with a major in Computer Science, Business Analysis Computer Information Systems or Project Management or Information Technology.In this role you will: Assists in analyzing and developing test scripts for automation and manual tests. Assists in creating test documentation using the appropriate test management tools such as Xray, Jira and Confluence. May assist in creating test cases for manual tests for various user stories based on Release and Sprint Plan. May provide support in creating and executing regression tests before releases and works with various teams to maintain quality tests and meeting test deadlin s. Assist in Reporting test defects, managing defects using Jira or any of the other tools mentioned.
