Assists the BDO staff with required and ongoing broadband-related projects through research, writing, data analysis, data testing, legislative monitoring and other assigned duties. Potential for off-site training depending on divisional needs. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Work Hours40 hours a week between the hours of 7 a.m. 6 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours. Hours may change based on business needs.Teleworking may be considered if certain working conditions are met. Applicant will be required to work in office up to 3 days/week, days may vary. The applicant may need to report to the office with little notice, as business necessitates. Travel reimbursements are not provided for teleworking.Qualifications: Minimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate within one year.Professional or academic experience in research and planning, data analysis and/or policy development relating to general government programs.Preferred QualificationsCurrently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate within one year with major coursework in public administration, government, public policy, statistics, economics, social science, finance, business, research methodology or related field.1 year of experience in research and planning, data analysis and/or policy development relating to general government programs.In this role you will:Assists with research, writing, data entry/analysis, statistical analysis and updating division reports, websites and databases.
