Job specificduties: 1. Provide supervision, assignments, and guidance to team ofinterior completions certification engineers who: a. CreateCertification Plans / Project Notification letters b. Collect, review,and provide input if changes are required for FAA Form 8100-9 forSTC/TC/MRA projects c. Create Summary Compliance Reports and ComplianceChecklists for STC/TC/MRA projects. d. Create validation packages forforeign certification activities, as required e. Approve data in ARcapacity 2. Assist engineering management/ ODA / and configurationmanagement on certification questions and direction 3. Demonstratecreativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solvingprocedural issues that may impact the schedule of aircraft STC/TC/MRAissuance. 4. Actively work to improve the department processes andensures all work meets customer and regulatory requirements andexpectations. 5. Maintain a current and up-to-date knowledge in thefield Required Skills: 1. Must be proficient in working with MS Officesoftware. 2. Experience in working with regulatory requirements. 3. Mustpossess excellent attention to detail and display the ability toeffectively adjust to changing engineering practices and procedures. 4.Must have excellent organizational and planning skills. 5. Must haveexperience developing and leading a team of people with diverseexperience and backgrounds. 6. Must have a proven track record ofpositive leadership in a fast paced, dynamic environment wherepriorities shift often. Desired Skills: 1. Experience developingdepartment training material. 2. Business Jet Interior Completionsexperience 3. Familiarity with Gulfstream engineering, certification,and business processes 4. Repair Station engineering/certificationexperience 5. Knowledge of Federal Regulations ( i.e. 14 CFR Part 21,23, 25, 43, 91, 135 and 183) and associated guidance material. 6.Experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificationprocesses including resolution of regulatory issues and coordinatingclosure of Issue...
