Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Complaint Coordinator & Change Control Specialist responsible for managing the facility's change control program and consumer complaints program. This pivotal role requires overseeing the implementation of change control projects, coordinating investigations and responses to consumer complaints, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Scope of the Role:
Quality Systems:
Lead the Change Control and Consumer Complaints program, ensuring its effectiveness.
Verify completion of change control projects and coordinate consumer complaint investigations.
People and Know-How:
Develop and execute training programs for Change Control, ensuring team members are well-versed.
Create forms and resource documents related to Change Control.
Collaborate with project managers to coordinate project execution.
Ensure timely completion of Consumer Complaint investigations.
Quality Compliance:
Review and assess Change Control projects for food safety and regulatory compliance.
Act as a resource for project managers, identifying gaps in task completion or documentation.
Report consumer complaint trends to the prerequisite program team and food safety team.
Support facility during internal and external audits related to Consumer Complaints and Change Control.
Quality Mastership:
Lead identification and verification of improvements to the Change Control program.
Track completion of Management of Change (MOCs) and assist Project Managers in timely project closures.
Identify trends in consumer complaint data and contribute to projects reducing consumer complaints.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
Minimum of two to three years in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of FDA food current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Experience with 21 CFR 117, lean manufacturing philosophy, and FSSC 22000 or SQF regulations.
Working knowledge of cGMPs and FDA requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite systems.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
