Description We are offering a role in the non-profit sector located in Bronx, New York, for a Compensation Benefits Specialist. The job function will be within an established team, dealing with employee compensation and benefits administration, enrollment, leave, and accommodations, as well as reimbursements.
Responsibilities
• Provide oversight, expertise, and guidance to employees regarding compensation and benefits administration.
• Handle enrollment procedures and manage leaves and accommodations.
• Oversee the reimbursement process for employees.
• Collaborate with vendors on bills and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Utilize software such as MS Office Suite, One Drive, ADP, and HRIS system for various tasks.
• Draw upon industry experience to administer benefits and navigate FMLA and labor laws.
• Maintain regular office hours, with flexibility for a hybrid model incorporating on-site and remote work.
• Utilize a range of skills, including ADP for financial services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, HRMS, About Time, Benefit Functions, Claim Administration, Compensation Administration, Compliance, and MS Office. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the non-profit sector, specifically in the role of a Compensation Benefits Specialist
• Proven expertise in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Proficiency in using Ceridian, Dayforce, and HRMS
• Experience in About Time, Benefit Functions, Claim Administration, and Compensation Administration
• Demonstrated knowledge in compliance and its application in the non-profit sector
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to work
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) accreditation is a plus.
