Compensation Analyst III Location: Remote Duration: 4 months with possible extension Description: Aside from the job description, can you provide an overview of what a day for this contractor will look like It will be supporting the compensation team during the compensation planning (merit, promotions, bonus, stock) processes. It will include running analyses, answering ESBP questions, running data audits, etc. Must have skills: Compensation analyst experience, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides Teachable skills: Tableau Optional skills: Workday Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting client's compensation team throughout upcoming compensation planning processes, including: - serving as first point-of-contact for questions from HR Business Partners; - handling one-off requests or questions about planning data; - performing ad hoc data analyses for comp team use; - running data audits during comp planning cycles (merit, promotions, bonus, stock); - identifying trends in planning data; - reviewing roll-up decks, validating planning data; - coordinating data requests from HR people consultants - such as employees without merit increases or planners who haven't submitted recommendations; - Subject matter expert in Compensation acting as a strategic partner with management in assigned internal functions and Employee Success team members - Consults with management to advice on decisions related to compensation matters and programs; - Works closely with the Employee Success Operations function to support ongoing administration of programs, survey participation and ad-hoc market pricings - Utilizes the HRIS system and other software systems to analyze data, create reports, and submit information. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience; - Intermediate level 4-6 years experience - Compensation experience required; - Advanced computer skills in HR systems, Google Sheets, Excel, Google Slides and Power Point; - Proven analytical, consulting and communication skills; - Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of compensation principles, practices and procedures; - GRP/CCP certification preferred; - Experience with Workday, as well as Salary.coms Talent Manager and Comp Analyst tools desirable.
