Workers are neededto plant, trellis, maintain and harvest blueberry, aronia, raspberry,elderberry, blackberry, and wine grapes. Workers will use hand and powertools such as but not limited to shovels, hoes, pruners, irrigationpumps and chainsaws. Workers must have the knowledge of soil tillage andthe ability to apply fertilizers and pesticides and operate and repairfarm machinery. Workers will perform other activities related toproduction of crops. Workers must be willing to work in varied weatherranging from extremely cold in the spring and fall to hot, humid summerdays. Workers may operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles totransport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farmproperties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from placeto place around the farm properties during the workday (including onpublic roads to reach farmers fields); and/or transport workers to thegrocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as-needed basis.Driver\'s license is required. Work is physically demanding requiringworkers to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for long periods of time.Workers must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on afrequent basis. Workers must be available to work Monday throughSaturday. Employer will furnish to workers without cost all tools andequipment required to perform duties assigned. Workers may require towork 7.5 hours shift within the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm. Workers willbe given a 30-minute lunch break and a 15-minute break in the morningand afternoon. Beginning and ending times may vary depending uponweather and crop conditions. Workers must be able to take direction insimple English.
