Summary: Provides support in administration of compensation programs, specifically commission and/or incentive plans. Conducts research, analytical review, and provides other support to the compensation department as requested. Support day-to-day commission-related activities and inquiries.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform calculations of manual commissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness based on established pay plans
• Collaborate with field sales and sales managers to understand the root causes of transactional information to accurately pay commissions
• Administer CompXL (incentive compensation tool) to provide sales credit for commission purposes
• Prepare monthly commission statements and payroll files within specified deadlines
• Review adjustments impacting commission payments to ensure compliance with pay plans
• Proactively identify areas of risk and opportunity and communicate them to the team
• Evaluate opportunities for process improvements to optimise pay plan administration
• Serves as a resource to support and develop peers and human resource partners on compensation principles, practices, policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related field
• Demonstrated sales compensation administration experience
• Experience in administering incentive systems (CompXL or Xactly)
• Experience working within a HRIS System, Workday experience is a plus
• Skill and ability to apply consultative and influencing skills in a business environment
• Strong communications skills, including delivering presentations
• Excellent organizational, detail orientation, and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partners at all levels
• Knowledge and skills to manage projects, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
