POSITION TITLE:Research Services Team Lead POSITION OVERVIEW The Research Services TeamLead directs the analytical testing group by coordinating andprioritizing testing activity of the Laboratory Technicians with thesupport of Lab Facilitator and provides technical direction to theAnalytical Chemists. The incumbent develops new testing methods tosupport the development of new products and is responsible for theupkeep and repair of all analytical test equipment. He/she provideschemical analysis of: competitor samples, raw materials, as well as thetroubleshooting of any other materials. This position identifies,procures, and implements new analytical testing equipment. This positionis located at Encapsys Headquarters in Appleton, WI. JOBRESPONSIBILITIES Effectively manages Analytical Chemists and Techniciansincluding performance management, career development, and building openand trusting relationships that further high employee performance andengagement. Identify, develop, document, validate and implement testmethods developed to support development of new products; work withmanufacturing to implement these in production as needed. Develop andexecute method implementation, validation and verification protocols forall newly developed methods, customer supplied methods or compendialmethods. Support and guide Lab Facilitator to prioritize and directtesting activities for the Analytical Lab technician team whileproviding development to the Lab Technicians. Provide technicaldirection and development to the Analytical Chemists. Provide technicalsupport on new products and processes. Provide chemical analysis ofproducts, materials, or contaminates to R&D, Marketing, Sales, TechnicalServices, and manufacturing for developing clarity in productdevelopment, process problems, and material identification.
