Merakey is currently seeking a Community Support Supervisor (CSS) to join our Merakey Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Division in our Philadelphia location.The Community Support Supervisor (CSS) is a part of the IDD community management team and will report directly to the Executive Director of I/DD Services; the CSS will be responsible for:Protects the health, safety, finances, and confidentiality of all Consumers in the programProvide supervisory support for Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) and the operations of assigned I/DD residences outside of normal business hoursActs as the primary resource for DSP's outside of normal business hoursProvides guidance and support to DSP's at assigned residencesVerifies staff adherence to work schedule and communicates all discrepancies/changes to direct supervisor who communicates discrepancies/changes to Scheduling DepartmentVerifies staff adherence to job duties/assignmentsResolves staffing issues identified during shift and notes accordinglyMakes recommendations for progressive disciplinary action, in accordance with HR policy and practices, to appropriate Community DirectorInspects residences and surrounding landscape for cleanliness, needed repairs, and fire safety, during shiftInspects furniture, appliances, fire safety equipment (i.e.... smoke detectors, fire extinguishers) during shiftImplements emergency procedures as directed, i.e.... 　　High School Diploma or GED required. Four(4) years experience in human services preferred and must be enrolled in an Associates Degree program within the first six (6) months of hire requiredAssociates Degree from an accredited college or university in human services or related field plus two (2) years experience in human services preferredBachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in human services or related fieldPrevious supervisory experience preferredValid driver's license with Reliable transportation
