Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Property Manager, theCommunity Impact Coordinator will be responsible for assisting andsupporting residents in the following ways: Assess the needs ofresidents and families by administering an annual resident surveyDevelop and implement supportive service programming in collaborationwith residents, site staff & management and local community serviceproviders Coordinate the delivery of services with local human serviceproviders Identify promising programs or opportunities for youth andfamilies in the community, examples include: health workshops, benefitsenrollment, meal delivery programs, community building activities andmore. Maintain all necessary information regarding services to residentsin a confidential manner following the regulatory guidance provided byHUD. Establish program targets, track and measure progress. Analyze anduse outcomes data as the basis for continuous program improvement, thenreport program outcomes to internal and external stakeholdersEffectively communicate with residents by newsletter, flyer, bulletinboard, etc., to ensure residents are informed of available resources andprograms Remain updated on Fair Housing, EIV, ADA, mandated reportingand other pertinent HUD rules and regulations and lease, house rules andrelated documents governing tenant residency at the assigned communityAttend all required meetings and prepare and participate in additionaland/or special Projects, as required from time to time by the PropertyManager. Job Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Qualified candidates willideally have: Minimum of three years prior experience in resident/socialservice programs (preferably in affordable housing) Bilingual in Spanish(Reading, Writing, and Speaking Fluency) Ability to work with andmotivate diverse resident populations Basic proficiency in the use ofcomputers including Word and Excel Demonstrated time management skillsand proven organizational skills Resident Coordinator certification is aplus College degree ideally with a focus in social work, urban planning,public health, human services, or community development is a plusBenefits HOW WE RECOGNIZE & REWARD YOU At POAH Communities, weunderstand that compensation and benefits are important not only to ouremployees but to their families as well.
