Job Description Commodity Manager, Sourcing Performslogistics sourcing activities related to transportation (parcel, LTL,truckload, heavy weight air, and ocean), third party warehousing, andbrokerage. Evaluates sourcing requirements to ensure compliance withinternal controls and operational requirements are met. Buildscollaborative relationships with internal business partners andstrategic relationships with external service providers. Build structureto effectively manage service providers through use of scorecards,business reviews, and industry benchmarking. Main Responsibilities: Leadsupplier life cycle management for assigned commodities and modesincluding supplier identification, onboarding, RFP/RFQ, contracting, andoffboarding Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leverage marketintelligence to develop actionable supplier strategies for assignedcommodities Analyze, review, optimize and maintain logistics processesin alignment with Sourcing and Logistics strategies Collaborate withinternal and external stakeholders to determine and maintaintransportation related policies and procedures Negotiate and implementsupplier Master Services Agreements and Scopes of Work Ensure suppliercompliance to policies, procedures, and contract requirementsResponsible to develop and implement actions to maintain service leveland drive supplier performance for assigned transportation modes Leadsupplier performance review management (scorecards, business reviews)Secure capacity for assigned transportation modes Develop costproductivity and cash strategies directly aligned with overall commoditystrategy Maintain global transportation contact matrix and escalationpaths for assigned commodities and suppliers Develop and implementrouting guide compliance tools and processes to ensure proper supplierutilization.
