  Currently, we are looking for Commissioning Agent for immediate Building, Transportation, & Infrastructure Projects in NYC.

  Pay Range: $50-$55 per hour

  Role Responsibilities:

  Review design submissions and attend necessary coordination meetings for all relevant scopes.

  Define the project specific scope and requirements of commissioning as defined by RPW, BOD and LEED and develop a project specific commissioning plan.

  Review relevant contractor submittals for applicable systems being commissioned and attend necessary coordination meetings for all relevant scopes.

  Individual to commission equipment systems, such as warehouse and airport systems, PDUs, BAS & BMS systems.

  Develop project-specific test protocols including Pre-Functional Checklists (PFC), Functional Performance Tests (FPT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST).

  Assist in writing commissioning plans, based on established standards and project requirements.

  Witness, direct, evaluate, and document field commissioning activities, (construction observations, and start-up and closeout verifications).

  Attend on-site meetings with construction team members. Write and distribute minutes and establish action items for each team member.

  Write and compile commissioning reports and related documentation based on established standards.

  Review TAB reports.

  Understand the commissioning and retro-commissioning processes.

  Execute tests for a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems and to ensure testing is performed in conformance with standards and procedures.

  Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

  Must be MA LEED Accredited Professional and CxA, Accredited Commissioning Authority from the ACG (needs approval from PANYNJ)

  A minimum of 6 year of commissioning experience in the city of NY, varied in size and complexity.

  Must be proficient in BCA, PECI, and/or ASHRAE commissioning procedures.

  Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

  Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, written and oral.

  Possess an understanding of the construction process, documentation (drawings and specifications), codes, and industry standards.

  Experience in the operation and troubleshooting of MEP and energy control systems.
